There are many different kinds of bird cages to be found in Indonesia, that vary per region. In indonesia keeping birds has been a long part of national culture, as the vast Indonesian archipelago is home to a wide array of birds, with birdcages a common sight outside homes and shops across the country. Birds are valued pets and bird owners often come together to socialize and hear the birds sing. These beautiful handmade cages are not truly fit for your own bird, since they are fairly small cages. However, they can be an amazing addition to your home decor. 

Bird Cage Origin
This remarkable (old) single bird cage comes from the Indonesian island Lombok.
This type of ornamental cage is used as a bird trap for little birds. A thin bamboo stick smeared with a sticky substance is fitted into the frame to provide perch. Alighting birds are swiftly dispatched into the cage.

Materials & Dimensions
The cage is made with carved and stained wood, split bamboo and woven wires. Dimensions: Height: 32 cm, Width: 23 cm, Depth: 23 cm

Jewellery Care 

All our jewellery is made of sterling silver or made of sterling silver coated with 18/22-carat gold, and set with authentic gemstones. In order to ensure optimal quality, it is important to handle your jewelry with care. Therefore, we recommend taking off your jewelry while:

o Showering/washing
o Sanitizing your hands with alcohol (more specifically for rings)
o Sleeping (especially necklaces)
o Spraying perfume, oils, lotions
o Swimming
o Exercising / playing sports
o Cleaning

Additionally, store your jewellery away from the sun in a cool & dark place, if possible in something that is airtight, to avoid oxidising of the jewellery.


Our sterling silver and gold plated jewellery have a warranty of 3 months. In order for the warranty to be valid we expect you to return to us your faulty item in full, to receive a replacement. 
Please note, there is no warranty on the fading or discolouring of the gold plated jewellery.
